Wall Street 2 Trailer

Wall Street 2 TrailerThe first official trailer of Wall Street2 has been released, here it is:

WALL STREET 2

Plot:
"Emerging from a lengthy prison stint, Gordon Gekko finds himself on the outside of a world he once dominated. Looking to repair his damaged relationship with his daughter, Gekko forms an alliance with her fiancĂ© Jacob (Shia LaBeouf), and Jacob begins to see him as a father figure. But Jacob learns the hard way that Gekko – still a master manipulator and player – is after something very different from redemption."

This trailer of Wall Street Money Never Sleeps is definitely teasing us! Gekko (Michael Douglas) is back, and I bet greed will have its place too in Oliver Stone's sequel to Wall Street.

Wall Street 2 - Wall Street Movie Sequel

Wall Street 2 MovieDirector Oliver Stone is coming with a timely movie sequel to Wall Street, the cult financial thriller from the 1980s. This new Wall Street movie, titled 'Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps', is scheduled for a release on on April 23, 2010. The film is starring Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Frank Langella, and Susan Sarandon. And according to the rumor, Charlie Sheen, who was in the first movie with Michael Douglas, is likely to make a cameo.

Let's take a look to the behind the scenes of Wall Street 2 thanks to this clip:

On the set of Wall Street 2
Plot:
"The film is set 20 years after the first film, in June 2008 before the Wall Street stock market crash and federal bail out, and takes place throughout the aftermath of the stock market crash. Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) has just been released from his prison sentence of 20 years. Despite initial attempts of Gekko trying to warn Wall Street of the soon-to-be economy down-fall, stock market crash no one believes him due to his now defaced image in the financial world. Gekko then decided to re-focus his attention to rebuilding a relationship with his now-estranged daughter Winnie (Carey Mulligan). Due to the time apart (because of his prison sentence), and the fact that Gekko is blamed for his son Rudy's suicide, Winnie avoids any contact with him.
During this same period in time, young Wall Street trader Jacob's (Shia LaBeouf) mentor unexpectedly dies (Frank Langella), and Jacob suspects his hedge fund manager (Josh Brolin) of being involved in his mentor's death. Jacob, who is Winnie's fiance, wants to seek revenge, and agrees to team-up with Gekko for help; in return Jacob agrees to helps Gekko repair his relationship with Winnie."

Gekko (Michael Douglas) used to be a mighty villain, but following his fall, he's become a preacher of doom... Now he wants to warn people about a looming financial disaster... Come on, that's not 'our' Gekko, the one who told us that greed was good! The real Gekko would keep that precious information for himself and would start selling short in order to reap a huge profit when the time of the financial crisis comes!
But Oliver Stone prefers to comply with the fashionable public's distrust of Wall Street...

Anyway, I'm still impatient to watch the movie Wall Street 2!
